We are actively recruiting the following position(s):


The control/electrical support technician’s primary responsibility is to support our customers, when needed, to diagnose, repair, and improve the software running at the customers batch plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Customers through phone and internet with problems and training of Controls software.
  • Assist customers through phone and internet with mechanical problems on concrete plants
  • Be able to explain the use of a multimeter for testing electrical issues
  • Be able to read and explain Schematic plans for electrical controls and corresponding locations on the plant.
  • Understand and explain the concrete batching process to new customers
  • Listen to customer concerns and find solutions within the program to fulfil the customer’s needs
  • ork with programmers to help advance the software making the customer experience smoother and easier.
  • Report back to programmers all bugs within the software program.
  • Report to programmers any customer requests for program enhancements
  • Send correspondence to manager of field service for sending technicians at customer request
  • Maintain returned parts database and returns of control system PLCs.
  • Testing and refurbishing returned PLCs
  • Updating batching software on PCs and PLCs
  • Assist customers with layout of custom batch tickets
  • Be able to instruct customers on the process of updating PLCs Both Turck and Allen Bradley
  • Answer questions from programmers on processes customers are using to batch materials
  • Work with Parts department to fulfil customers request.
  • This position will include weeknight and weekend hours of availability.
  • This position will include the use and require the knowledge of the following pc programs: word, excel, outlook, Allen Bradley software for Programming SLC PLCs
  • Also requires the use of internet to log in remotely to customers PC’s through the use of and TeamViewer.
  • Document issues customers are having and be able to discuss internal fixes.
  • Ability to work alone and within a group
  • This position will not be traveling except to possible local plants to better understand batching process. (one day trips no overnights)
  • All other duties to be assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of high school education; 2-year technical degree in mechanics or electronics preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years in a technical support role preferred
  • Strong electrical background
  • Excellent phone etiquette – must be comfortable talking to customers
  • Able to read electrical schematics
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Should be customer service driven
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Able to multi-task


RexCon, Inc is a U.S. manufacturer of high-quality stationary and portable, central mix and ready mix concrete batch plants, concrete mixers, and concrete paving equipment. For decades, the RexCon product line has been an industry leader in quality designed, durable, high-production concrete plants and mixers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design motor control panels, control systems, and power and signal distribution.
  • Specify and pick new components as needed.
  • Create and edit electrical drawings in AUTOCAD Electrical, including for electrical control boxes and system interconnects.
  • Fluently create and read single and three phase electrical schematics.
  • Test Rexcon’s concrete batching control and communications equipment to ensure that it meets specifications and the needs of our customers.
  • Assist in handling preparing, producing, and monitoring shop orders.
  • Maintain shop performance and efficiency, including tracking inventory.
  • Configure and test Variable Frequency Drives.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent skills in AUTOCAD Electrical.
  • Excellent people skills and desire to help customers resolve problems.
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with inventory and shop floor control programs.
  • Experience at designing, building, and debugging electronic equipment, including process controls.
  • Understand AC and DC power sources (single phase, three phase) and related equipment (motors, circuit breakers, transformers, power factor correction, uninterruptible power supplies, etc.).
  • Understand DC proportional signals and how to measure them (e.g. process control equipment utilizing a variable speed drive or control valve).
  • Understand the difference between safety ground and signal ground.
  • Familiarity with UL Standards (preferable UL508A).
  • Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives.
  • Familiarity with Power Transmission.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing setting a plus
  • 2-5 years’ experience


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer site; use electrical/mechanical skills to set up, install, start up, or repair equipment
  • Test RexCon’s equipment and controls to ensure that they meet specifications and the needs of our customers
  • Train customers on the operation of RexCon equipment and control systems
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting any equipment or control problems
  • After each site visit, log all expenses and write report
  • Possible international travel

Education and Experience:

  • Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Familiar with computers and Microsoft Software
  • Basic welding and torching skills
  • Understands AC & DC power sources and related components
  • Able to measure all levels of voltage as well as current

Mechanical Assembler

Currently hiring for 1st and 2nd shift mechanical assemblers. Previous mechanical assembly experience required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble machines used in the heavy construction industry using hand and power tools
  • Operates overhead cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Weld, grind, and use pneumatic power tools
  • Analyze engineering drawings and build to print
  • Hitch rig, roll, flip and move large equipment
  • Load trucks for shipping


  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Frequently required to lift from a ladder or platform
  • Required to stand 90% of the time
  • Attention to detail
  • Mechanical aptitude.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the shop and other engineers to design and develop working drawings using Solidworks and AutoCAD Software.
  • Create Engineering Change Notices (ECN) for existing drawings and updating BOM’s.
  • Design parts based on written and verbal descriptions from customer and design engineers.
  • Work closely with all departments in the shop to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Mechanical Engineering is required
  • 3 plus years’ relevant experience
  • Any experience in drawing/designing is a plus
  • Experience with Solidworks, (2D) Auto CAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to read, interpret, and use customer-supplied documentation.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design of new steel structures.
  • Review current structures that already exist.
  • Create Engineering Change Notices (ECN) for drawing revisions, making new drawings and designing new products for equipment.
  • Create models using CAD design software.
  • Help the engineering department with projects.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Civil Engineering required.
  • 0-2 years in structural design work experience is required.
  • Must be able to read, interpret, and use customer-supplied documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • CAD system experience is required.
  • Experience in structural design and making drawings.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to contribute in design reviews.
  • Experience with RISA and Solidworks is a plus.
